ManWinWin participates in Mechanical Engineering Seminar

On April 2, ManWinWin consultant Maxim Balitsky gave a technical and commercial presentation on the ManWinWin software to around 40 students on the Mechanical Engineering course at the Polytechnic of Leiria. The region is known for its industrial potential and some of the students already hold positions related to maintenance in companies.

The initiative came from the teacher responsible for the Maintenance Management subject, who invited ManWinWin to present the software to his students. The feedback received was extremely positive, showing great interest on the part of the students in deepening their knowledge of ManWinWin.

This participation resulted in a link between ManWinWin and the Polytechnic of Leiria, where there is the possibility of holding similar sessions again for engineering students. This initiative not only allows the software to be shown to future professionals in the field, but also allows students to get to know new tools and share experiences and questions they have about Maintenance Management.

Maxim Balitsky has a degree in mechanical engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (2022) and was involved in the design and conceptualization of a Formula Student electric vehicle. He is a maintenance management consultant and ManWinWin implementer at Navaltik Management Lda. He has directed and guided implementation projects, both abroad and in Portugal, ranging from the food industry to the production of explosive products.

ManWinWin and students

ManWinWin offers a free version, ManWinWin Express, which is popular with students to try out a CMMS and also for academic work.

With ManWinWin Express, students have access to features such as:

  • Complete Inventory: create and manage a detailed inventory of assets, including technical information, maintenance history and costs.
  • Work Order Scheduling: Program and schedule work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance with precision. Optimize resource allocation and avoid unexpected downtime.
  • Effective Monitoring: Track the progress of work orders in real time. Record working time, materials and costs incurred for accurate performance analysis.

At ManWinWin, we take great pride in contributing to the future of maintenance management. We would like to thank the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria for inviting us and for their dedication and commitment to education and research, which are fundamental to the development of new technologies and solutions that drive progress in industry.
