Repsol Portugal strengthens maintenance management with ManWinWin Software

Repsol Portugal, one of the country’s leading energy companies, has strengthened the maintenance management of its infrastructure with the ManWinWin CMMS.

The initiative covered several strategic sites, including: Leixões, Sines and Almada. This implementation addresses high demands for availability, safety and control of critical industrial assets.

Structuring and standardisation of maintenance

The project began at the Banática Terminal, where the system’s foundation was implemented, including:

• Structuring of the functional organisation and cost centres
• Registration of critical assets (pumps, compressors, tanks, electric motors)
• Creation of maintenance plans
• Training with a strong practical component

This approach enabled the teams to be aligned with best maintenance practices right from the start.

Phased and field-oriented expansion

Building on this initial success, the project was expanded to the Leixões Terminal, following a structured methodology:

• On-site technical survey
• Configuration of ManWinWin
• Specialist consultancy
• Team training

Critical equipment such as pumping systems, tanks, fire-fighting systems and filling stations was integrated, ensuring a robust and operational database.

Results: greater control, greater efficiency

ManWinWin enabled Repsol to:

• Centralise all maintenance information
• Standardise processes across different sites
• Improve the traceability of costs, times and interventions
• Introduce KPI-driven management
• Gain autonomy in using the system.

Today, teams use ManWinWin as a central tool for monitoring performance, analysing data and supporting operational decisions.

This project demonstrates how a structured and progressive approach can transform maintenance in demanding industrial environments, laying the foundations for a more efficient, safer and data-driven operation.
