Indian Ocean Tuna Ltd (IOT), a manufacturer and exporter of canned tuna, is now using ManWinWin software to manage maintenance activities in its factory located on the island of Mahé in the East African archipelago of the Republic of Seychelles.
The biggest of its kind in the world, IOT’s factory processes tuna caught in the Indian Ocean that is used by some of the most famous seafood brands including John West, Petit Navire and Mareblu. Processed fish is the main export of Seychelles and is the country’s second largest industry behind tourism.
According to Seychelles News Agency,[1] IOT’s umbrella company, Thailand-based global seafood leader Thai Union, has been investing in the brand’s factory since 2010, the only canning factory in Seychelles.
ManWinWin consultant Hugo Madeira Cardoso hailed the implementation project “a success” after visiting the factory to register and centralize IOT’s maintenance information. Cardoso also praised IOT for their “cooperation throughout the duration of the implementation”, promising to provide “continuous support” to the factory’s maintenance team.
ManWinWin software is present in over 20 countries across Africa and is used by businesses operating in a variety of industrial sectors from infrastructure to manufacturing. To find out more about our clients and other news, visit our website here.
